Turkey visa for Sri Lankan citizens: documents and processing times
Updated on 24 October 2026 · Solution Visa Turquie
Your application depends on the travel document, purpose and trip dates. These are the checks for a passport from Sri Lanka.
Eligibility for Sri Lankan citizens
Sri Lankan ordinary passports require a visa. The Ministry mentions e-Visa access with an accepted visa or residence permit. Its Sri Lanka paragraph does not itself define every feature of the authorised stay.
Check allowed days, validity dates and entries in the portal for your application. A different nationality’s guide is not evidence of your permitted stay.
Documents and travel schedule
Prepare the passport and supporting evidence, then compare validity with your arrival date. If you plan several stops or return to Turkey after leaving, provide the whole itinerary before selecting an authorisation.
Airside transit and entry into the country need separate assessment. The carrier may also examine documents before boarding.
Timing: preparation, decision and departure
Separate our preparation time from the authorities’ decision. An incomplete file, uncertain supporting document or consular case must not be presented as a guaranteed 24-hour e-Visa.
For an approaching departure, first establish eligibility and completeness. Wait for the authorisation before treating the application as approved; a summary or receipt is not a visa.
An imminent trip with an incomplete file
The 24-hour service does not remove supporting-document requirements. If evidence is not accepted or information is missing, request assessment before payment. The service timeframe begins with a complete file and does not bind the Turkish authorities.
Supporting documents and passport validity
Where required, check a valid visa or residence permit issued by a Schengen country, the United States, the United Kingdom or Ireland against the official portal’s exact conditions. French residence is not a separate blanket exemption. A foreign e-Visa must not be assumed equivalent to accepted supporting evidence.
Prepare the passport identity page, travel dates and supporting-document details. Read every portal declaration, including any transport, accommodation or funds requirements. Keep the relevant documents accessible for travel. Consult our document checklist.
Check passport validity for the authorised stay. The general rule is 60 additional days beyond the permitted duration, with document-specific exceptions. See the passport validity guide.
Application steps and service timeframes
- Check the passport, purpose, dates and supporting evidence before choosing a service.
- Follow the official e-Visa portal or have an eligible file prepared with private assistance.
- Compare every identity field and review all mandatory conditions before submission.
- If electronic eligibility is missing, obtain the competent Turkish mission’s consular instructions.
- After issuance, check dates, allowed stay and entries; visa issuance does not guarantee admission.
Our all-inclusive total per eligible traveller is €99 for 5 days or €149 for urgent 24-hour service (+€50), starting with a complete eligible file. Portal charges and assistance are included. This commercial total is not a universal government fee and does not guarantee issuance. Payment requires server confirmation. Read the application, price and timing guide.
Check your situation before applying
