What is a Turkey e-Visa?
It is an electronic authorisation for eligible travel, including tourism or commerce under the relevant conditions. The issued document must match the passport used for the trip. Visa validity, permitted entries and length of stay are separate limits.
Do not treat “180 days from issuance” as a universal rule: check the dates selected in the portal and printed on the issued visa. An e-Visa does not guarantee boarding or admission. Work, study and longer stays need the appropriate assessment.
Who may apply?
Eligibility begins with passport nationality and document type. Some routes require an accepted supporting visa or residence permit. Age can change the procedure for Algerian, Egyptian, Iraqi and Libyan passports.
Where required, a qualifying supporting document may be issued by Schengen, the United States, the United Kingdom or Ireland. It must meet the relevant category and validity conditions; a foreign e-Visa is not an equivalent document. Other conditions may cover transport, accommodation, funds or airline. French residence alone does not establish eligibility.

Government application or private assistance?
A direct government application differs from private assistance. Check the provider, what is included and the total before paying. A commercial website does not become governmental by displaying a flag or using the word visa.

Fees and timing in 2026
The official amount depends on the passport and appears in the application flow. A price range quoted by an agency is not a uniform government tariff. We do not publish the pack’s empty price cells or unconfirmed supplements.
Our displayed standard assistance price is €99 per traveller, based on the supplied pricing reference. The 24-hour total is €149 (€50 supplement), including portal charges and assistance. Exempt travellers should not purchase an e-Visa service for the exempt stay.
Our indicative service timeframes are 5 days for standard processing or 24-hour service, starting with a complete, eligible file. They do not create government priority or guarantee issuance. Missing information or additional checks can affect the schedule.
The pack’s unconfirmed “80-day window” is not presented as a verified requirement. Follow the application portal’s available dates and the issued document.
Preparing the application
- Check exemption, e-Visa eligibility or the consular route first.
- Select the correct passport and purpose; read all conditions.
- Prepare identity, travel dates and passport details.
- Prepare the supporting-document details and copy where required.
- Compare every summary field with the passport before submission.
- Before a real payment, verify amount, currency, process and recipient.
- After issuance, check the authorisation and keep an offline copy.
Send documents by email or WhatsApp after server-confirmed payment and an order reference. The site does not submit applications automatically to the authorities.
Documents and passport validity
Prepare a clear passport identity-page copy and any qualifying supporting document. Additional portal conditions remain mandatory even if no file upload is requested for them.
The general travel-document rule is 60 days beyond the permitted stay, with document-specific exceptions. The Ministry recommends a passport valid for at least six months on arrival. Read the validity guide and document checklist.
We do not state that return transport, accommodation or funds are never required. Conditions vary and may also be checked on arrival.
Errors, a renewed passport or refusal
Check the details before finalising. If the issued visa contains an error or your passport changes, do not assume the authorisation remains usable. Obtain the official instructions before travelling.
Before applying again, distinguish refusal, missing information, an error and an incomplete payment. A new application may incur new fees. No provider can guarantee admission or substitute for an authority decision.
Children, cruises and transit
Check every traveller individually, including children. An exempt child does not automatically need a visa purchase.
International airside transit, leaving Istanbul airport and transferring between IST and SAW are different situations. A change of airport requires entry assessment. Check nationality- and route-specific transit obligations with the airline and authorities.
A cruise stop may have specific port arrangements. A limited port-area authorisation must not be presented as a general tourist visa. Check the exact port, duration and itinerary.
When to use the consular route
